Alcaparras (Capers)

Capers (alcaparras) also come from the same bush as the caper berries, but are the flower bud rather than the fruit.

Capers have numerous properties; they are a big source of natural antioxidants and they whet your appetite. Used in many recipes from different cultures, they are an important ingredient in sauces such as the well-known “tartar sauce” or as an appetizer. They are also delicious marinated and go well with products such as smoked salmon or salads.
