One of the most important international events in gastronomy sector happens biennial and is organized by the World Association of Chefs Societies. This global chefs organisation has 105 official associations as members and represent over 10 million professional chefs worldwide. This year the Worldchefs Congress & Expo was hosted in Thessaloniki Greece from 24-27 September. During the event 14 important chefs made presentations about their countries cuisines and the future of the industry.
With the aim of being a cosmopolitan event and influence people by different cuisines the event had the participation of 674 chefs from 79 countries and Olmeda Origenes in a partnership with De Gustibus, our official distributor in Greece and working together with Rougie had the opportunity to show the artisan and heritage Spanish products to the international culinary community. We presented a large selection of products among them Spanish Iberian hams, our collection of artisan cheeses, Torta Extremaña cheese, Manchego cheese, Cave Blue Cheese and cold meats, Iberian loin, Iberian salchichon, Chorizo del Pueblo and Iberian Acorn Chorizo.
It was good a opportunity to strengthen our relationship with the most renowned chefs around the world who knowing our premium products Olmeda Origenes are a important diffusion path of the Spanish fine food and our brand worldwide.
