Piquillo peppers are a gastronomic jewel of our cuisine, a very characteristic pepper from the province of Navarra, in northern Spain. The best piquillo peppers are produced in the magnificent orchards of the Ebro River, where our peppers are made with care and dedication every day. This culinary ingredient was first brought to our land with the discovery of America, and since then it has become a traditional vegetable to flavour all our dishes. They are carefully harvested between September and November, and hand-cleaned one by one following the most artisanal processes. Honouring the traditional preparation of piquillo peppers, these are roasted and peeled by hand. Finally, they are delicately packed to preserve all the properties, flavour and texture that an excellent Spanish piquillo pepper should have.
