Olmeda Orígenes
Our extraordinary Olmeda Orígenes quince jelly is produced in the Spanish gastronomic paradise of Guijos de Santa Bárbara. Quince was already known among the ancient Greeks and Romans and was considered the fruit of love and fertility. For this reason, all quince trees were consecrated to the goddess of love, Aphrodite, and we show our devotion to this fruit by sharing this traditional product with other cultures.
Artisanally prepared following local traditions and a secret family recipe, this jelly is made from carefully selected natural fruits, without any additives or artificial colourants. Simple but with a unique flavour: if you’re not Spanish, it’s very unlikely you’ve tried anything like this before. Ingredients: 65% quince, 35% sugar, cooked at low temperature. Ideal for desserts, breakfasts, and a sweet afternoon snack. For a great contrast of flavours, try it with a slice of cheese, in salads, or with foie… simply delicious.
