Olmeda Orígenes

White tuna from the Cantabrian Sea in Olive Oil crystal jar

Tuna is a blue fish of delicious flavor and highly valuated due to its versatility in cuisines and its benefits to the health. White tuna Olmeda Orígenes is a product of our Cantabrian Sea, arriving to the Bay of Biscay all the way from the warm waters of the Sargasso Sea to delight us with their spectacular flavor and high content of proteins, unsaturated fats and vitamins.

The capture of these white tunas must be in respect to environmental regulations and the ecosystem of our sea. The fish is only caught during the summer, with the help of a fishing rod, hook and bait. They are fished individually following the same old good techniques to safeguard the well-being of the specie. The back of the fish, once cooked, is canned manually with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
